Derby University and Theatre

A collaboration with Derby University's set design students and Derby Theatre to create an installation and costumes worn by the Youth Theatre for a performance in the Eagle Market in March 2020. There was no brief for this project so the collaboration involved creating, making and implementing all aspects of the project which has been generated to resurrect this neglected area of the city.

Each of the six characters we created were in response to the space at the Eagle market in Derby. Each represent a market stall with an animal that relates to this, Derby Youth Theatre was a key part of the research for this.
